Scheduling a first consultation
Starting or resuming therapy is always a significant decision, and you may have quite a few questions about what our work together might look like. With that in mind, I offer an initial phone or video consultation at no charge.
I typically see patients in person at my office, located near Rittenhouse Square in Center City Philadelphia. For patients unable to meet in person I am also available by video conference or phone.
The fee for our work together is something we’ll decide on in our first few meetings. Several factors, including session frequency (for patients seeking two or more sessions per week) and your individual financial circumstances will play a part in deciding on a fee that’s appropriate and sustainable for you.
If you’re uncertain about affordability but feel that this work might be right for you, I encourage you to reach out anyway—we can discuss options, including a sliding scale, to find a fee that is workable for your situation.
I do not participate as an in-network provider with any health insurances; however, if your plan includes an out-of-network reimbursement for mental health, I can provide you with all the necessary paperwork to receive that benefit.
